Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Planr app ("Planr" or the "App"), an iOS app for creating rosters, shift patterns, and a duty calendar with reminders. The App is published by Hanhaj Enterprises LLP ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Planr, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.

License to use the app

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Planr on iOS devices that you own or control, solely for your personal use. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms.

Eligibility and account

You may use Planr only if you are legally able to form a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction. Planr does not require an account, and no registration is needed to use the core features of the App.

Rosters and shifts are not an official record

Planr is a personal planning and reminder tool. Rosters, shifts, duty calendar entries, and reminders you create in the App are provided for informational and organisational purposes only. They are not an official employment, attendance, payroll, leave, or compliance record, and they do not replace your employer's or organisation's official rostering and timekeeping systems. You are solely responsible for verifying your actual duties, reporting times, and obligations with your employer or organisation. We are not responsible for missed shifts, incorrect entries, scheduling conflicts, or any consequence arising from your reliance on the App.

Subscriptions — duration, trials, and automatic renewal

Planr may offer subscription features with one or more billing periods (for example, monthly or yearly). The subscription duration and price are shown at the time of purchase within the App and on the App Store listing. If a free trial or introductory offer is available, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID account is charged for each renewal through Apple's App Store, under Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. Payment processing and billing are managed entirely by Apple; we do not receive or store your payment card or billing details.

Cancellation, restoration, and refunds through Apple

You can view, change, or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or the App Store. Turning off auto-renewal stops future charges but does not immediately end the current subscription period; you retain access until that period expires. If you reinstall Planr or switch devices using the same Apple ID, you can restore prior purchases through the App's restore option, subject to Apple's entitlement rules. Refunds are governed by Apple's policies — you can request a refund directly from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) — and we are not responsible for Apple's refund decisions. We are unable to process refunds or manage subscriptions on your behalf.

Service availability and Apple-feature dependencies

Planr relies on Apple iOS and the following Apple frameworks and features, each subject to availability and change by Apple: iOS App Groups (for sharing locally your upcoming duty summary with widgets and Live Activities); local notifications (for shift and duty reminders); widgets and Live Activities; and Apple Calendar (for optional reading and writing of duty events). We do not guarantee that any feature will remain available, compatible, or uninterrupted, as these depend on Apple's software, your device, your iOS version, and your device settings. Apple may change, restrict, or remove features in future iOS updates. We may update, modify, or discontinue the App, or any feature, at any time without notice. We are not responsible for any loss of data or access resulting from Apple platform changes, device settings, or your deletion of the app.

Apple Calendar integration

Planr may read from and write duty events to your Apple Calendar, but only with your explicit permission. You may grant or revoke this permission at any time in the iOS privacy settings. Your use of Apple Calendar is also governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for how Apple independently synchronizes or stores your calendar data according to your Apple account and device settings.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of Planr except as permitted by Apple's App Store terms; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except to the extent permitted by applicable law; (c) use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the App or interfere with any other party's use; (d) enter data you are not permitted to store or share, including confidential staffing information you are prohibited from recording outside your organisation's systems; or (e) use the App for any unlawful or prohibited purpose. You are responsible for your use of the App and for any data you enter.

Intellectual property

Planr, including its design, text, graphics, icons, and software, is owned by Hanhaj Enterprises LLP and is protected by intellectual property laws. Apple, the Apple logo, Apple Calendar, and Live Activities are trademarks of Apple Inc. RevenueCat is a trademark of RevenueCat, Inc. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use any trademark or intellectual property other than as necessary to use the App as permitted herein.

Disclaimer of warranties

PLANR IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. THE APP DEPENDS ON APPLE'S PLATFORM AND FRAMEWORKS, WHICH WE DO NOT CONTROL.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL HANHAJ ENTERPRISES LLP OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, MISSED SHIFT, OR LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OR INCOME, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE PLANR, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR PLANR IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hanhaj Enterprises LLP and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of Planr.

Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use Planr. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App, or terminate these Terms, at any time without notice. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you under these Terms end immediately. Because your data is stored locally, deleting Planr removes your rosters, shifts, duty entries, notes, and preferences from your device. Deleting the App does not remove events already written to your Apple Calendar — manage or delete those through the iOS Calendar app and your Apple account settings. Subscription and entitlement records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained under their respective policies and are not removed by deleting the App.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Your continued use of Planr after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the App and delete it from your device.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Planr.
